Leaking oil badly with three holes to play in the second round on Friday, Tjaart dug deep to show great determination and par the last three holes to make the cut on the number. By doing so, Tjaart has played himself into a position of some safety and it apprears that his chances of getting into the Henrico County Open in Richmond, Virginia next week are looking good.
With the final round in the Athens Regional Foundation Classic still to be played tomorrow, Tjaart could further solidify his ranking by finishing in the top 25 and that would entail him shooting a solid round of at least 68 in the final round tomorrow. Tjaart will tee off at 9:12 am ET (6 hours behind SA) and will depart very soon thereafter for the airport, where he will fly to Richmond, Virginia.
