Going into the final round of the Fort Smith Classic tomorrow, Tjaart finds himself in a tie for 38th position at -5. A good solid round would ensure a climb up the leaderboard and Tjaart would like nothing better than to finish off a four week stretch on the road with a good finish. Tjaart will tee off at 8:40 am CT (7 hours behind South Africa) from the 10th tee. Due to expected bad weather, the final round will be a split tee start in threesome groupings.

While next week is a scheduled week off tour for all members of the Nationwide Tour, Tjaart will travel, on Tuesday, to St Louis, Missouri to take part in Local Qualifying for the US Open. While there are many qualifying sites spread throughout America, Tjaart opted to take part in the Local Qualifying in St Louis as there is no qualifying site in Houston. St Louis is where Tjaart's good mate Trevor Dodds is based and so Tjaart will enjoy the hospitality of the Dodds' family on Tuesday night prior to teeing off at 7:30 am on Wednesday morning at the Lake Forest Country Club in St Louis.

On his return to Houston on Wednesday night, Tjaart will then enjoy the rest of his off week at his home in Houston. He has two things to look forward to next week - the arrival of his mate Andre Snyman who will be working with Tjaart over the next few months on his fitness, overall conditioning and where necessary, will be caddying for Tjaart; AND, the semi-finals of the Super14 next Saturday when the Sharks take on the Blues at Kings Park! Go Sharks!

Check back on Tuesday night to see how Tjaart did at the US Open Local Qualifying but before then, don't forget to follow Tjaart, tomorrow, on the internet during the final round of the Fort Smith Classic by clicking on the "Scoring" link above.
