After the excitement of Tjaart's 2nd place finish at The Africa Open last week it's 'back to work' again. Tjaart tees off this morning at 11h00 at The Joburg Open, another Sunshine/European co-sanctioned event, at The Royal Johannesburg and Kensington golf club.
Tjaart displayed some superlative golf last week matched with his steely compusure (especially on Sunday) and it would be fantastic to see him carry it through to this week's event. The Joburg Open is played over two courses and he's looking forward to the challenge. Last year Tjaart had a strong showing at this tournament so with happy memories and a good looking golf swing we look forward to watching Tjaart play.
Last week's performance not only gave Tjaart a good start on the European & Sunshine Tour Order of Merits but it gave him some much welcomed world ranking golf points, and he's now currently ranked 236 in the world.
